JOE TREMAINE began dancing when he was just 4 years old and when he was in high school he began teaching the art of dance. In 1967 he moved to Los Angeles where he had a very successful career as a performer. In 1974, he opened Joe Tremaine Dance Center where he spent 23 years teaching students. Joe Tremaine established Tremaine Dance Conventions and Competitions in 1981, where he and his staff tour the country every year bringing professional choreography to dancers nationwide.
