Dance Code
The British Ballet Academy dance code was created to promote class unity, discipline and a respect for the art of dance.
We ask that you please adhere to the code.  Thank you for your support!
Coupons for Dance Designs are available in the office!

Combination Classes (ballet & tap)

• pink tights

• leotard (any color)

• pink ballet slippers (leather or canvas)

• white tap shoes

• hair pulled back and away from the face

• absolutely NO shorts, tank tops or t-shirts!

• absolutely NO jewelry or gum!

Ballet Classes

• pink tights

• leotard (any color)

• pink ballet shoes (leather or canvas)

• ballet skirt (optional)

• hair pulled back and away from the face preferably in a bun

• absolutely NO shorts, tank tops or t-shirts!

• absolutely NO jewelry or gum!

Jazz Classes

• black Jazz pants or black Capri pants

• leotard, t-shirt or tank top

• tan jazz shoes (Jazz I & II)

• black jazz shoes (Jazz III, IV, V, & Adv)

• hair pulled back and away from the face in a bun or ponytail.

• absolutely NO short shorts, midriffs or sweatshirts!

• absolutely NO jewelry or gum!

Tap Classes

• comfortable clothing

• NO short shorts and NOTHING baggy!

• white tap shoes (Tap I)

• tan tap character shoes (Tap II)

• black tap shoes (Advanced Tap)

• absolutely NO jewelry or gum!
